Military Veteran for Veterans and First Responders
I was born and raised in New England. I enlisted in the Marine Corps in 2006 after earning an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice from McIntosh College in Dover, NH. After multiple deployments overseas in Iraq and the Horn of Africa I finished my enlistment and earned a Bachelor Degree in Communication from California State University San Marcos. While working construction for Shea Homes I worked part time with the Army National Guard to earn a commission as an officer. I now call Las Vegas my home.
I am a constitutionalist. I believe in personal freedom. My oath is to the constitution of Nevada, the United States, and the people it was designed to serve. Our current state government controls rather than serves. As Assemblyman, you the voters and the citizens of the district will be my boss. I do not seek the office for myself, but for everyday Nevadans and our families. As Assemblyman, I will firmly stand for your constitutional rights.
Business: Many business licenses are needed in Nevada. I would like to pass a bill that would allow for city, county, and state licenses to all be due on the same day, using a single system to help accelerate the process and save businesses owner’s time. As well as have a cap on business license pricing.
Election Integrity: Voter ID. Other countries use voter ID very well with no problems. Nevada can too. No more ballot harvesting and limited mail in voting.
School Choice: Nevada is consistently ranked in the bottom 20% in the nation for public education. Ways we can help improve education is to give options to parents for school choice. This includes scholarship tax credits, vouchers, charter schools, magnet schools, home schooling, inter-district enrollment, and online learning.
